Marek Rozkowski is the Principal of High Park Architects and a member of the Ontario Association of Architects, Master of Arts, Gdansk University of Technology, Faculty of Architecture. High Park Architects has an extensive experience in residential, sacral, commercial, retail, and institutional projects. We offer services for individuals, developers, and community organizations. The services may include Building Permits, Zoning Review, Committee of Adjustments, and Site Plan Approvals, for new projects, renovations, alterations, conversions & additions.

Tibetan Buddhist Temple
Toronto, Ontario

The picture shows the first Ontario building specifically designated as a traditional Tibetan Buddhist Temple complex, designed by High Park Architects at 10-12 Maynard Avenue in Toronto Parkdale neighborhood. It contains shrine rooms, a large multipurpose room with a commercial kitchen, 40 car underground garage, and 30 residential apartments. The currently existing temple is the Canadian seat of the Karma Kagyu branch of Tibetan Buddhism.

Dera
Bruce, Wisconsin - Dera Baba Sawan Singh

A Dera in Bruce, Wisconsin designed by High Park Architects, is being build as a tribute to the Master Baba Sawan Singh by his disciples. The project will follow the traditional methods used to build temples in India, with all work supported by donations. The followers are offered the opportunity to perform volunteer work.
The facility will be located on the ISHA owed land in northern Wisconsin, atop a hill by the Chippewa River. The Dera Meeting Hall will be 155 feet long and 109 feet wide, for a total of 16,800 square feet area. Over 400 people will fit in the domed auditorium. A commercial kitchen and dining hall will be capable of feeding all visitors. It will also contain a meeting room, a family room, office space, a quiet room, bathrooms, storage space, and a covered, outdoor-dining patio. Green building methods will be used whenever possible, and to support the community by buying locally.

Queensborough, Ontario
Iswar Puri Meditation and Retreat Center

High Park Architects with Sant Mat group have designed and is renovating the meditation Ashram and retreat centre for groups and individuals. Once the renovation is completed the Ashram will be able to accommodate over 100 participants for a day programs and provide sleeping facilities for 50 participants with: bedrooms, dorms, baths, showers, kitchen, dining room, meeting rooms, meditation hall etc. In the future the group is planning to build a big addition that would serve as a main gathering room for special evens such as: bhandaras, satsangs and various holidays celebrations. Participants can enjoy also the great beauty of local nature as well as peaceful and safe environment. The buildings is located and have an access to the Black River where swimming and kayaking is available.
